Community Cleanup in Odesa: Celebrating World Cleanup Day
Last Saturday, Odesa's T.G. Shevchenko Park hosted a community cleanup event for World Cleanup Day.
The initiative was organized by the All-Ukrainian Youth Movement Let's do it Ukraine and the international organization Let's Do It World. Employees of the Municipal Enterprise "Miskzelentrest" also participated in the event.
Approximately 200 individuals took part in the cleanup, clearing litter from the park's grounds. The Municipal Enterprise "Miskzelentrest" was responsible for waste disposal.

On September 20, 2025, Ukraine joined millions of activists from 211 countries in celebrating World Cleanup Day. Residents from cities, towns, and villages united to clean the environment and promote a culture of cleanliness. In 2024, over 404,000 participants joined the initiative, cleaning more than 26,000 locations across 24 regions of Ukraine. Ukrainians living abroad also participated. According to international rankings, Ukraine ranked 11th out of 211 participating countries.
