Collaborative Efforts for Safety: New Resources for Odesa Region
On September 17, Rescuer's Day, Odesa received new firefighting equipment from international partners and passed it on to neighboring communities.
The Mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, expressed gratitude to the rescuers and emphasized the importance of unity in challenging times:
«Today, Odesa has the necessary equipment, but our neighbors often lack such vital resources. Together, we face challenges and rebuild our lives. Two vehicles provided by Mainz are heading to the Chornomorsk community, and one to the Fontanska community. The equipment from Bristol will also be utilized appropriately».
The transfer of equipment took place with the agreement of international partners who support Odesa during the war.
Additionally, the local rescue team of the KУ «Rescue and Diving Service» received new rescue gear and equipment from the charity fund «Reach for the Sky».
