Bristol — A Part of Odesa's History
The «Bristol» Hotel is one of Odesa's architectural jewels, with a history spanning over a century. Throughout the years, it has welcomed renowned writers, actors, and politicians. The building was constructed in the neo-baroque style by prominent architects Alexander Bernardazzi and Adolf Minkus.
This is the only hotel in the city featuring two presidential suites, along with exclusive thematic rooms designed by leading global designers such as Fendi, Missoni, and Ralph Lauren. The hotel offers 113 apartments, a spa center with panoramic city views, a ballroom, and three conference halls.
The revival began in 2002 when Vertex Hotel Group purchased the abandoned building and initiated an eight-year reconstruction, investing $17.5 million.
Unfortunately, all this luxury and beauty suffered significant damage after the Russian missile strike on January 31, 2025. There were injuries among the hotel staff, but fortunately, no fatalities.
