Martial Arts Evening in Odesa: Skill and Support for the Armed Forces
On September 11th, a mixed martial arts event featuring MMA and KICKBOXING-PRO was held at Red Line in Odesa, organized by Ukrainian Fights Promotion with the support of the Odesa Regional State Administration, in honor of the Armed Forces' drone units.
The event was announced by the organizer, the president of Ukrainian Fights Promotion, Oleksandr Hordienko.
At the beginning of the event, star host Anastasia Tsymbalaru and the country's main ring announcer, Serhiy Bryl, welcomed everyone present, followed by a video message from the commander of the Armed Forces' drone units, Brovdi Robert (Madyar), who thanked the organizers and wished the fighters success in the octagon.
During the official opening, welcoming words were given by First Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleksandr Kharlov, President of the National Kickboxing Federation of Ukraine Oleg Manzyuk, Head of the Charity Fund “Modern Ukraine” Volodymyr Havrush, Deputy of the “Zeus” group of companies Ihor Varbanets, and co-founder of Ukrainian Fights Promotion Dmytro Popovych.
Notable sports figures, officials, military personnel, and business people were also present at the event.
The evening featured 9 intense matches: five MMA bouts and four professional kickboxing fights. Some of the best fighters in Ukraine, including European and world champions, participated.
The evening was filled with thrilling matches and spectacular knockouts.
Special guests of the event included the band “Dubky,” who performed lively musical hits.
On behalf of the command of the Armed Forces' drone units, Colonel Medvedev Vitaliy presented the organizers with a flag.
