Fire in Ovidiopol: One Injured
A fire broke out in Ovidiopol, located in the Odesa region. On October 26, around noon, flames engulfed the roof of a residential building on Kotlyarevsky Street. Emergency services reported that the fire covered an area of 90 square meters. A 59-year-old man sustained burns while attempting to extinguish the fire himself and was urgently taken to the hospital.
"The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are under investigation. Two units of equipment and 10 firefighters from the emergency services were involved, along with one unit and 3 personnel from the local fire brigade 'Karolino-Buhaz'," officials stated.
