Celebrating Medical Workers in Odesa

On the eve of Medical Workers' Day, Odesa hosted a ceremony dedicated to those who tirelessly care for the health of its citizens.

Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov addressed the medical community, expressing his gratitude and support during these challenging times:

«Odesa thanks each of you — for your daily efforts, professionalism, and care for your patients».

Despite the ongoing war, the city's healthcare system continues to function steadily: new departments are being opened, medical equipment is being upgraded, cutting-edge technologies are being introduced, and doctors are enhancing their qualifications.

This year, modern cardiology and surgical departments were opened at Hospital No. 11, and powerful surgical, trauma, and endoscopic services were established at Children's Hospital No. 3.

Renovation work is ongoing at the infectious diseases hospital and Hospital No. 1. Special attention is being given to the rehabilitation of veterans and the development of adaptive sports.

The mayor emphasized that even in the toughest times, healthcare remains a priority for the authorities, and medical workers exemplify resilience, professionalism, and dignity.

In honor of the professional holiday, the best healthcare workers in Odesa received honorary awards.
