Creative Festival in Bukovel: Dance and Vocal Competition
From July 2 to 8, 2025, the picturesque heart of the Carpathians, Bukovel, hosted the All-Ukrainian festival-competition of choreographic, vocal, and circus arts known as OKSAMYT WONDERLAND-BUKOVEL.
Among the 300 participants, the folk art collective – the dance ensemble "Carnival" from the Odessa Center for Children's and Youth Creativity "Moryana" distinguished itself by winning the Grand Prix of the festival.
Additionally, the Odessa team secured three first places and one second in various categories.
The performance "Stolen Childhood" impressed the jury and the audience with its emotional intensity and powerful message of peace, hope, and truth.
In addition to the competition, a diverse entertainment program was arranged for the children. They climbed to the highest peak in Ukraine, Hoverla, visited many picturesque spots in Ivano-Frankivsk region, participated in themed discos, workshops, honed swimming skills in the pool, and interacted with peers from other cities.
The ensemble "Carnival" is a collaborative project of the "Moryana" center and Odessa Lyceum No. 16, where this collective operates under the leadership of the talented dancer and choreographer Vitaliy Kuznetsov.
