Ukraine Celebrates Tank Forces Day
On September 14, Ukraine celebrates Tank Forces Day.
This was announced by Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal via Telegram.
"Tank units are the steadfast shield of our nation. The speed, skill, and resilience of Ukrainian tankers are what the enemy fears the most," emphasized Shmyhal.
"Dear warriors! In the toughest times, you show true heroism. You have swiftly adapted to the new equipment provided to Ukraine by our allies. Your experience serves as a model for the free world," Shmyhal addressed the troops.
He expressed gratitude to Ukrainian tankers for their daily heroism and professionalism.
"Eternal memory to those who gave their lives in the battles for Ukraine and its people," Shmyhal added.
It is worth noting that the President of Ukraine established Tank Forces Day by decree on September 9, 2023, to be celebrated annually on September 14.
