Fire Breaks Out at Market in Odesa Region

A fire erupted at a market in the Odesa region, covering an area of 80 m2. The cause of the blaze was identified as an electrical short circuit. This was reported by the emergency services.

The incident occurred on July 9 in the afternoon in the village of Serhiyivka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district. Three trade pavilions caught fire at the local market, but the fire was quickly extinguished.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. The fire was extinguished using 3 pieces of equipment and 12 firefighters, along with 1 piece of equipment and 3 personnel from the local fire brigade of the village "Shabo", - stated in the emergency services report.
