Safety Inspections of Odessa Beaches

Odessa authorities inspect local beaches for vacationer safety

Spending time on the shores of the Black Sea is a perfect summer getaway. Currently, inspections are ongoing to increase the number of officially designated beaches.

Recently, Odessa lifeguards assessed the central beaches planned for official opening.

They inspected lifeguard posts, availability of boats, rescue rings, and first aid kits, and checked accessibility to nearby shelters. They also conducted informational sessions with vacationers.

After the inspections, emergency service specialists will provide recommendations to government authorities, who will make the final decisions regarding the opening of the beaches.
