Fountain Renovations in Odessa
In Odessa, specialists from the «Service Center» have carried out repairs on several city fountains.
As part of the routine maintenance at the fountains located in Theater and Railway squares, scheduled work was completed, including cleaning nozzles and external filters, flushing the sand filter, and checking the operation of the dosing pump and the levels of reagents.
Additionally, the staff of the «Service Center» regularly cleans the fountain basins, removes debris from the water, cleans external filters, and adds water to the required level.
The specialists also renovated the fountain «Corner of Old Odessa» located on Gogol Street. The main tasks included repairing and repainting the fountain basin, fixing chips in decorative elements, refreshing the paint layer of the composition, and servicing the equipment.
The Odessa City Council reminds residents of the importance of taking care of community property.
Swimming in city fountains, bathing animals, or throwing any objects/trash into the fountain basins is strictly prohibited.
Due to vandalism, fountains often cease operations for necessary repairs.
It is also important to follow safety rules and avoid contact with the water in the fountain basins, as the water is treated with special reagents to prevent blooming.
