New Recruitment Center of the Armed Forces Opens in Odesa

Key Highlights:

  • A new recruitment center for the Armed Forces has opened in Odesa;
  • The center provides a full range of services for enlistment, including the “18-24” contract;
  • Veterans assist recruits in selecting positions;
  • It is possible to serve directly in Odesa.

Odesa has joined the cities where the Armed Forces recruitment center operates.

The recruitment center in Odesa is part of the network of the 1st Recruitment Center, already operating in Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro. Established in 2024 at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, it aims to simplify the enlistment process. This was reported by the center's press service.

The center is open to anyone wanting to apply their skills in the army: drivers, medics, personnel for equipment maintenance, and drone pilots.

Advantages offered by the center include:

the ability to complete all necessary documents on-site, including signing a contract under the “18-24” program – from personal files to psychological tests;

a complete package of services that was previously only available with a visit to the office in Kyiv.

It is noted that veterans of combat operations serve in the center and always know what to advise recruits on when selecting positions in the defense forces.

“Working at the train station is indeed effective. Our candidates who want to enlist but can't travel to Kyiv come to us, complete their documents at our mobile points, and join the ranks of the Ground Forces,” said Senior Officer Dmytro Andreychik.

If someone wants to serve specifically in Odesa, that is possible, the military affirms:

“We will look specifically in Odesa, without searching in other regions like Kyiv or Sumy.”
