Tribute to Hero: Farewell to Dmitry Yaremchuk
During a critical mission in the Bakhmut region, military serviceman from Odesa, Sergeant Dmitry Yaremchuk, was killed. He was 44 years old. The farewell will take place tomorrow, April 4.
The Southern community reported that Sergeant Dmitry Yaremchuk served as a machine gunner in the mechanized battalion of military unit A0666. He died on March 4 of this year while performing his duty near the settlement of Pivnichne in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region.
"We express our heartfelt condolences to Dmitry's family, his relatives, and comrades. Eternal memory to the defender of Ukraine, who gave his life for our homeland, for each of us!"
On April 4, the community has declared a Day of Mourning. We ask to lower national flags on buildings and structures in the community as a sign of grief", - the statement reads.
