New Phase of Repatriation of Ukrainian Citizens

On June 14, as part of the agreements reached in Istanbul, a new phase of repatriation occurred. Ukraine received another 1200 bodies, believed to belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel.

The Coordination Headquarters emphasizes that the identification of these bodies as Ukrainian citizens is based solely on Russian statements.

Therefore, in the near future, law enforcement agencies will conduct examinations and identifications of the bodies in collaboration with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
