New Pediatric Clinic in Odesa: Advanced Care for Children
In Odesa, the City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 3 has launched a cutting-edge emergency and trauma department, marking a significant development for the Peresyp district.
The facility offers comfortable conditions for young patients and medical staff, equipped with the latest medical technology. All beds are fitted with oxygen points, ensuring appropriate levels of care. Special attention was given during renovations to ensure accessibility and inclusivity.
Since December 2023, surgical interventions have begun, with approximately 150 operations performed, over 100 of which were ENT procedures.
Throughout 2024, the new emergency, urgent, and trauma department, as well as the surgical and endoscopic units, operated at full capacity. Nearly 1,000 surgical interventions, more than 800 trauma procedures, and around 70 endoscopic procedures have been completed.
To date, 2,735 young patients have been admitted to the renovated departments: 1,375 to surgery and 1,360 to trauma. The absence of complications following surgeries indicates the high quality of medical assistance provided.
A modern reception and diagnostic unit has also been established, featuring isolated Melzer boxes that enhance infection control and prevent the spread of hospital-acquired infections.
Thus, young residents of Odesa now have access to a modern pediatric clinic that meets current requirements, where qualified medical professionals provide high-quality care under the state medical guarantee program.
