Tribute to Heroes: Muay Thai in Lviv
From October 9 to 12, Lviv hosted, organized under the auspices of the International Federation of Muay Thai.
This tournament was dedicated to the memory of fallen defenders of Ukraine, particularly the soldiers of the «Artan» special unit, as well as athletes who have taken up arms in defense of their homeland.
During this commemorative event, boxers also competed for the title of Ukrainian champions. The winners earned the right to represent Ukraine at the upcoming European Championship.
Odesa athletes performed remarkably well. Dmytro Zanіn won a silver medal in the under 60 kg category, while Nikita Kuts (under 57 kg), Mykhailo Serdiuk (under 60 kg), and Bohdan Studnev (under 63 kg) claimed the Ukrainian Cup. The athletes were trained by coaches Volodymyr Pishenin, Andriy Vakharash, and Kostyantyn Trishin.
