New Accessibility Initiatives in Odesa

A significant meeting took place in Odesa between the local government team and representatives of the "Partnership for a Strong Ukraine" (PFRU) program, focusing on advancing accessibility in the city.

During the dialogue, participants reviewed several strategic initiatives currently being implemented in the city:

  • the establishment of a barrier-free route "East - West" under the national accessibility strategy;
  • expansion of rehabilitation services;
  • comprehensive support for military personnel and their families;
  • conducting barrier-free education classes in schools;
  • creating an urban space that is comfortable for all.

"I thank the director of the 'Resilient Population' project, Oleksii Mykhailichenko, and his team for their support and willingness to assist Odesa," said Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman.
