New Initiative for Gambling Regulation in Ukraine
The state agency «PlayCity» has announced a tender for the creation of a registry for individuals prohibited from participating in gambling activities. This information was shared by the agency's press service via Telegram.
«Our goal is to establish a modern system that is safe and accessible for those who wish to protect themselves or their loved ones from gambling addiction», the statement reads.
Key changes include:
- a personal cabinet for submitting self-exclusion applications;
- integration with the Diya portal and online systems of gambling organizers;
- enhanced personal data protection.
It is emphasized that the registry is a crucial step in promoting responsible gaming and developing a safe gambling market in Ukraine.
The deadline for submitting proposals is October 26, 2025.
The estimated cost is up to 1.7 million UAH.
As noted by the agency, the registry is expected to be updated by December 15, 2025.
