Youth Health: The Importance of Awareness

Last week, specialists from the «Youth-Friendly Clinic» of the Primary Health Care Center No. 2, along with representatives from the Odessa Regional Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, held an interactive event titled «Know to Live!» for students of Odessa Lyceum No. 9.

Participants of the training received information on transmission routes, diagnostic methods, and prevention measures for HIV, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases, as well as the risks associated with drug use. The students created and presented posters reflecting their vision of a healthy lifestyle and safe behavior.

The head of the «Youth-Friendly Clinic», Lyudmila Kucherenco, spoke about the clinic's operations and answered teenagers' questions regarding the services available at the clinic.

The «Youth-Friendly Clinic» at PHC No. 2 provides comprehensive medical and psychosocial support addressing health preservation specific to adolescence, adhering to friendly approach principles and ensuring psychologically comfortable conditions for each client. Anonymous HIV and hepatitis testing is also available free of charge.
