Trial for the Wife of a Pro-Russian Ex-MP Charged with Treason
The spouse of a former MP who fled to Russia faces charges of treason. She established an IT company in Moscow that has been developing software for Russian military and intelligence services since 2014.
This was reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation has revealed that the wife of a former Ukrainian parliament member, who led the political party "Rodina" and fled to Russia in 2014, founded an IT firm in Moscow. The company specialized in creating software for entities affiliated with the Russian government, the Ministry of Defense, and intelligence. In 2023, the firm implemented software for military helicopters that are employed in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
Prosecutors have requested the seizure of the accused's real estate. Her luxury property and land in Odesa have been transferred to the management of ARMA. The accused is currently wanted and will be tried in absentia.
