Ukrposhta Launches Innovative Parcel Lockers
Ukrposhta has announced the launch of its own network of parcel lockers. According to the company's statement, the first 100 units will be installed within this year.
Initially, only residents of Kyiv, where 70 lockers will be set up, and Odesa, which will have 30 units, will be able to use this new service. The company plans to expand the network nationwide by 2026.
Packages can be picked up using a PIN code or through the updated Ukrposhta 2.0 app, which was introduced in September and is already available on the App Store and Google Pay.
The statement mentions that the Ukrposhta lockers have been designed to meet high security standards and are capable of operating in offline mode, even without power or connection.
