Emergency Power Outages in Ukraine Due to Russian Attacks
Due to the extensive missile and drone strikes by Russia on energy infrastructure, emergency power outages have been enforced in several regions of Ukraine. This was reported by NEC "Ukrenergo" on social media.
"As a result of the massive assault on energy facilities, a significant number of consumers are left without electricity in Kyiv city, as well as in Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Odesa regions. To stabilize the energy system, emergency outages have been introduced in these areas," the statement says.
It is emphasized that energy workers are making efforts to restore stable electricity supply as quickly as possible. Emergency outages will be lifted once the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
