New Military Registry Established in Ukraine
On June 17, the Ukrainian Parliament approved the proposal for a Unified State Registry for military personnel.
"This is a significant step towards establishing an organized and modern system for record-keeping and services for military members."
The registry will serve as a digital database that enables: faster and more accurate recording of personnel data; automatic generation of analytical reports on reserves; reduction of bureaucratic procedures and human errors," emphasized Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
A key innovation is the Military ID, a digital identifier that will facilitate data exchange between registries without compromising personal information.
According to Umerov, this system will allow military personnel in the future to access social services, benefits, and bonuses online, including through the Army+ app.
