Creative Exchange: Journey to Bavaria

From August 17 to 23, 2025, a group of 20 students aged 8-16 from Odesa Gymnasium No. 26, along with five accompanying adults, visited Bavaria, a region of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The primary goal of the trip was to participate in the international talent camp Talent-Akademie - 2025, which brought together youth from different countries.

During the ten days, the children thrived in an environment of creativity and collaboration, working in mixed international teams, overcoming language barriers, making new friends, and learning to cooperate.

Creative activities, including theater performances, music sessions, dance, painting, quests, and games, served as platforms for self-expression, mutual respect, and the generation of new ideas.

The cultural evenings were particularly noteworthy, showcasing the traditions of the three countries. The Ukrainian evening symbolized love for the homeland, the Polish evening offered hospitality and dance, while the German evening introduced new forms of teamwork through interactive games.

A true test came with the ascent to the Alps, where a quest centered around the theme of the “Talent Academy” took place. The children searched for clues and answered questions in three languages: Ukrainian, Polish, and German, exemplifying integration and intercultural dialogue.

The trip to Lviv, Prague, and Ulm allowed participants to explore architectural landmarks and the contemporary life of European cities, reminding them of Ukraine's organic place in the European space. The excursion to BMW's showroom provided unforgettable experiences as the children engaged with cutting-edge technologies.

This project demonstrated that modern Ukrainian youth are ready to be part of the international community. Students of Odesa Gymnasium No. 26 not only showcased their talents but also became true ambassadors of Ukraine.

The experience gained in Bavaria will serve as a foundation for future initiatives aimed at talent development, integrating Ukrainian youth into the European educational space, and expanding international cooperation.

The event was supported by the public organization InKontakt and in partnership with the Polish school Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa im. Bolesława Krzywoustego w Wolinie.
