Safety Training for Preschoolers in Odessa
On August 20, 2025, instructors from the Public Organization «Association of Sappers of Ukraine» conducted training seminars for educators and students at preschool institutions No. 137 and 300 in Odessa to raise awareness about the risks associated with mines and explosive objects.
The primary goal of the event was to enhance the safety of children and adults, fostering safe behavior to avoid threats posed by mines and explosive materials, as well as determining appropriate actions during shelling.
The Public Organization «Association of Sappers of Ukraine» implements humanitarian projects in the field of mine action, including educating the public on preventing risks from mines and explosive devices. The organization is executing the project "Building Capacity in Ukraine, including Non-Technical Survey and Risk Mitigation from Explosive Objects” in partnership with The Mines Advisory Group (MAG) funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
