Fire Incident in Residential Complex in Odesa: Firefighters Respond

Last evening, a fire erupted in a flat on the 13th floor of a 16-story building in the village of Lymanka, located in the Odesa region.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

Firefighters successfully evacuated 23 residents and rescued three dogs. The fire was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters.

Due to heavy smoke, the rescuers operated using respiratory and eye protection devices. To enhance ventilation, they utilized a smoke extraction device. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damages are currently under investigation.

The emergency service deployed 9 units of equipment and 29 firefighters to the scene.
