Supporting Children's Education Amidst Instability

Every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. Due to war, forced displacement, and interruptions in learning, many students have lost the opportunity to fully acquire knowledge.

By assisting them in catching up, educators not only bolster their confidence and motivation but also enhance socialization—rebuilding connections with peers and fostering a sense of security.

To assess the level of educational losses in the educational institutions of the Odesa community, diagnostic assessments are conducted in June to identify gaps in students' knowledge, alongside extra classes, consultations, and group activities that facilitate better material comprehension.

For instance, to address educational setbacks for elementary students, the program «KEC» has been created—an initiative by the NGO «Go Global» aimed at supporting young schoolchildren who have lost part of their knowledge due to the full-scale war. The goal is to equip schools with effective tools to operate in challenging, adaptive conditions.

This project is supported by UNICEF in Ukraine, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and the Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group).
