New Course on Digital Safety for Teens
Today, teenagers are constantly influenced by social media, often unaware that much of the content is manipulation or misinformation.
In Ukraine, a free educational course has been launched focusing on digital safety for teenagers to assist children in protecting themselves online.
The course is structured like a computer game featuring vibrant characters, engaging quests, and rewards. It can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. After completing the course, participants can revisit lessons or redo tasks at any time.
The course is created by Oksana Moroz, an expert in information spaces and author of the book “How Not to Become a Vegetable,” along with Kateryna Holtzberg, a child and family psychologist and president of the Professional Association of Child Analytical Psychologists.
The course is available online on the interactive Unicorn School platform from any device. Register here: https://unicorn.itstep.org/infohygiene-training-course
