Odessa's International Cooperation Takes New Steps
Odessa is strengthening its international community connections with cities that share our core values: solidarity, openness, and the pursuit of peace.
New geographical names have emerged on the memorial sign of Odessa's sister cities: Mainz, Heidelberg, and Taïta Taveta (Republic of Kenya).
“The place where we stand now symbolizes our vast international family. This year, two German cities — Mainz and Heidelberg — have become our partners. These fire trucks are a generous gift to our city. Three are from Mainz, and two more are from Bristol in Britain. We sincerely appreciate this support and hope that a sign from Bristol will soon appear nearby,” said Odessa's Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
Odessa continues to develop collaborations with cities from Europe, America, Asia, and Africa. Each new partnership adds another voice in support of Ukraine.
