Odessa Strikes Back: The Aftermath of the Drone Attack
On the night of July 3rd, enemy drones targeted Odessa, leading to significant damage to a residential building. A preliminary inspection revealed that one of the entrances poses a danger.
The city's emergency response headquarters is on-site, managing the aftermath of the attack.
Once the fire was extinguished, the headquarters promptly engaged with the residents.
Alexander Filatov, the first deputy mayor of Odessa, held a meeting with the residents of the affected building.
During the discussion, urgent issues were addressed. A clear action plan was established: building inspection, preparation of a technical report, assistance with temporary housing, and the processing of financial aid.
Experts from the Odessa Construction Academy were involved in the inspection, with rector Anatoly Kovrov coordinating the engineers' efforts.
Apartment access was also organized for residents to retrieve essential belongings.
The city and humanitarian headquarters continue their operations, while utility services are clearing the area of debris.
