New Greenery in Odesa: Summer Flowers in Istanbul Park

The municipal workers from the «Miskzelentrest» enterprise have started planting summer flowers in Istanbul Park. The decorative patterns that will adorn an area of 500 square meters will consist of over 30 thousand begonias.

At the beginning of the season, the employees of «Miskzelentrest» tidied up the park area, painting benches and bins, and maintaining the lawns.

This year, Odesa plans to plant 350 thousand summer flowers. The floral compositions will traditionally include salvias, geraniums, begonias, petunias, ageratum, tagetes, and chlorophytum.

The first summer flowers have already partially adorned the Exchange Square and flower beds near the Primorsky District Administration, replacing the spring blooms. A total of 12 thousand summer flowers (petunias, begonias, and geraniums) will be planted on the Exchange Square, while the pattern «Lyra» on the Theater Square will consist of 10 thousand begonias.

According to the «Miskzelentrest», summer flowers will be planted in all city districts to replace the spring flowers that have already wilted.
