Honoring Ukraine's Defenders in Odessa's Educational Institutions
In celebration of Defenders Day, a series of thematic events took place in the educational institutions of Odessa.
Students participated in: courage and memory lessons titled “Dignity and Honor of Ukrainians,” presentations, roundtable discussions, film screenings, and exhibitions of children’s drawings and creative works entitled “I am a Descendant of Cossacks.”
Young residents also engaged in sports competitions called “We are Children of the Cossack Lineage,” charity events “Thank You, Defenders of Ukraine,” workshops “Amulet for the Ukrainian Warrior,” patriotic flash mobs “In Unity, Our Strength!,” and meetings with military personnel.
The school libraries also featured thematic literature exhibitions.
The goal of these events was to promote national-patriotic education among children and youth, as well as to popularize military heroism.
Eternal glory to those who defend our homeland, eternal memory to those who protected Ukraine at the cost of their lives.
