The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) has been implementing a new project called «Transparent Schools» since 2022. The initiative aims to transform the educational environment by introducing new teaching materials and enhancing integrity within schools.

On October 29, 2024, the project «Transparent Schools: Moving Towards Integrity» was presented to the heads of general secondary education institutions at the European Lyceum in Odesa.

Serhiy Hupyak, Deputy Head of NACP, emphasized the significance of building integrity and active educational outreach, developing teaching materials, and transforming the educational landscape in schools.

Participants learned how to explain the concepts of integrity and corruption to children in an engaging and straightforward manner, as well as how to apply this knowledge in practice.

They discussed the crucial role of educational institutions in fostering zero tolerance for corruption among participants in the educational process and outlined mechanisms to develop integrity and prevent corruption risks.
