Vandalism on the Health Route: New Damages Reported
In Odessa, employees of the municipal enterprise «Odesmisksvitlo» are engaged in restoring the external lighting along the Health Route, which was damaged by vandals.
Law enforcement has recorded thefts of automatic switches, damage to cable lines, and theft of terminal box covers. This has resulted in disruptions to internet connectivity and surveillance cameras.
The total damages incurred by the enterprise exceed 50,000 UAH.
At the end of last year, a similar act of vandalism was reported on the Health Route, where unknown individuals damaged the equipment of ten poles, stole automatic switches and covers, and ripped out cables.

Liability for damages to municipal property under the Criminal Code of Ukraine
1. Intentional destruction or damage to someone else's property causing significant harm is punishable by a fine of up to fifty (850 UAH) untaxed minimum incomes of citizens, or community service for a period of one hundred twenty to two hundred forty hours, or corrective labor for up to two years, or restriction of liberty for up to three years, or imprisonment for the same term.
Article 296. Hooliganism
1. Hooliganism, meaning a gross violation of public order motivated by blatant disrespect for society, accompanied by particular audacity or exceptional cynicism, is punishable by a fine of five hundred (8500 UAH) to one thousand (17000 UAH) untaxed minimum incomes of citizens, or arrest for up to six months, or restriction of liberty for up to five years.
2. The same actions committed by a group of individuals are punishable by restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
