Museum of Memory: Honoring Victims of Genocide
A modern museum of memory has opened in Odessa, telling the tragic stories associated with genocide. This city, like many others, holds a history intertwined with the Holocaust. We honor the memory of all those who perished during those dark times and convey their testimonies through exhibitions and educational programs, as this is part of our shared heritage.
Last year, a special memorial area was created in Odessa, dedicated to the victims of various genocides. A group of individuals has come together to preserve and share the stories of diverse peoples, contributing to enlightenment.
The Museum of Memory is located in the old post office building at 10 Sadova Street.
On January 27, 2025, the global community will commemorate the tragic events, as it marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. This day is established as Holocaust Memorial Day and a time to prevent crimes against humanity.
