Recovery of Odesa Lyceum No. 125 Following Drone Attack

As a result of a massive drone attack, Odesa Lyceum No. 125, which has around 500 students and 60 children in the kindergarten, sustained severe damage.

One hundred and twenty windows (700 m²) were completely shattered across 30 classrooms, 30 doors were damaged, and heating and electrical systems were partially affected.

Ceilings in 30 classrooms were damaged, and 100 desks and 200 chairs were essentially destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

«Currently, work is underway to restore heating. The kindergarten will reopen on Monday, November 11. Students will study remotely for a week, and starting November 18, they will return to classes in shifts in the less damaged areas of the school. The restoration of the most affected building section is expected to be completed between November and January,» said Odesa's Director of Education and Science, Olena Bujnevych.
