Mourning in Odesa: Remembering the Victims in Sumy
The city of Odesa has marked a day of mourning following the tragic loss of life in Sumy caused by an enemy attack. A missile strike resulted in the deaths of 34 civilians.

Flags in Odesa lowered in tribute
On April 13, the enemy conducted a missile strike on Sumy. As a result of the assault, 34 individuals lost their lives, including two children. Additionally, 117 people were injured, with 15 being minors.
"The residents of Odesa extend their heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased," the city council stated.
The strike on Sumy
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the missile attack on Sumy was executed with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles. Intelligence reports indicate that the strike was carried out by Russian units from the 112th and 448th missile brigades operating from the territories of Voronezh and Kursk regions.
