Digital Advancements for Veterans: New Opportunities
A key priority for the government is the digitization of services for veterans. The long-awaited electronic veteran certificate is now available in the Diia app.
This allows over 1 million Ukrainians to use the electronic certificate in various situations, from accessing social benefits to applying for loans, without the need to carry a paper version.
The electronic certificate is available for:
• war veterans;
• participants of combat actions;
• persons with disabilities due to the war;
• victims of the Revolution of Dignity;
• family members of deceased veterans;
• families of fallen defenders of Ukraine.
To add the veteran certificate in Diia:
- download the Diia app and select “Add Document”;
- choose “Veteran Certificate” and provide consent for data access;
- click “Add” and wait a few minutes for the document to appear.
If the document is not found?
This means your information may not have been included in the Unified State Register of War Veterans. Call the Ministry of Veterans Affairs hotline at 0 800 505 217 for further assistance.
Where can the e-Veteran Certificate be used
