Billiards Championship in Odesa: A New Beginning
The billiards championship «Dynamic Pyramid» is currently underway in Odesa. Participants include both children and adults from 12 regions, totaling 59 competitors, with the youngest athlete born in 2015.
After a five-year hiatus, the tournament has returned to Odesa with renewed energy.
«It’s wonderful to see Odesa reviving its interest in billiards. It’s a beautiful and strategic game. I especially want to thank the organizers - despite the challenges we face, we are creating opportunities for youth to participate in competitions at various levels,» said Odesa’s mayor, Gennady Trukhanov.
The mayor wished the participants good luck and the spectators thrilling and spectacular matches.
