Ukraine U-21 Triumphs Over Spain in Friendly Match
The Ukraine U-21 national team secured a victory against the Spain U-21 team in a friendly match.
The match ended with a score of 1:0, serving as preparation for the Euro 2025 championship.
Spain took control from the very beginning, but were unable to convert their chances. Ukraine became more active towards the end of the first half, with Nazar Voloshyn coming close, but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
At the start of the second half, the Spanish team completely changed their lineup, while Ukraine made only a goalkeeper substitution.
The second half continued to see Spain dominating, yet Ukrainian goalkeeper Ermakov showcased his skills, saving the team after a deflected shot in the 79th minute. Mykhavko also had a chance to score with a header directed towards the near corner.
Ultimately, Ukraine clinched the win in stoppage time, with Ilya Kvasnytsia heading the ball into the net after a cross from Bohdan V'yunyk.
