Successful Diplomatic Meetings in Paris

The French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stated that the meetings held in Paris on April 17 were a significant step in diplomacy, uniting representatives from America, Europe, and Ukraine at the same table.

In an interview on LCI, he emphasized that this was a genuine "diplomatic achievement" for France.

After the gathering, which included delegations from Ukraine, the UK, France, Germany, and the USA, Barrot claimed it was a "notable diplomatic success".

"This is a historic moment, as it is the first time American, Ukrainian, and European representatives have come together," he added.

The minister highlighted the importance of such meetings, as they are about "moving towards our common goal: peace".

"To achieve this, we must continue the dialogue. Americans are eager to end this conflict," he noted, adding that the American side is "listening attentively" and aims for a peaceful resolution.

Additionally, on April 17, French President Emmanuel Macron hosted a delegation from the USA at the Élysée Palace. There was also a meeting between the Ukrainian delegation and representatives from France, Germany, and the UK.

The US Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, remarked on the "very productive" discussions in Paris and shared a photo with the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak and the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
