Financial Aid for Veterans to Engage in Sports

Veterans, take advantage of the opportunity to receive financial aid for sports activities. Submit your application for the Veteran Sports Program through the Diia app and receive 1,500 UAH during the second quarter of 2025.

Use these funds to visit gyms, swimming pools, or sports clubs, maintain your physical fitness, relieve stress, and meet new people. Sports are becoming more accessible, leading to a greater number of veterans engaging in activities for their recovery.

How to apply for assistance?

  • Open the Diia app →  Services →  Veteran Sports.
  • Familiarize yourself with the program rules.
  • Create a Diia Card and select it for fund allocation.
  • Review your application and click Submit.

Applications are accepted until April 20. Funds will be credited to your Diia Card within six working days.

The program is available for combat veterans and individuals with disabilities due to war, who have a taxpayer identification number and verified status in the Unified State Register of War Veterans. When filling out the application, the status from the veterans' register is automatically verified, not the certificate from Diia.

If you do not use the full amount of assistance, the remainder will return to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, and you will receive another 1,500 UAH in the next quarter. However, if you do not utilize the assistance at all during the quarter, you will need to reapply next time.

Veteran sports are more than just physical activity. It is an opportunity for veterans to regain their strength, alleviate stress, and find support in the community.

This project is implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
