Fatal Accident Near Peresyp Bridge
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a tragic traffic accident near Peresyp Bridge, which resulted in the death of a woman. The incident occurred yesterday, March 4, around 7 PM.
The head of the transport crime investigation department of the National Police in the Odessa region, Dmytro Slyuta, stated that a 53-year-old truck driver driving a DAF, while turning on Otaman Holovatyi Street towards Balkivska Street, struck a woman who was crossing the road.
"Unfortunately, the victim, whose identity is currently being established, has died from her injuries," the police reported.
