Keeping Children Safe Online: Essential Guide for Parents
The Internet is a vast realm of opportunities for education and entertainment. However, it isn't always a safe place. How can we prevent criminal actions that exploit this technology?
A guide developed by the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, titled “Online Violence Prevention: What You Need to Know”, aims to assist parents and guardians in safeguarding their children, while also providing adolescents with practical advice for safe online experiences.
Here’s what you can find in the guide:
- examples of various forms of online violence;
- tips on setting privacy and securing devices used by children, as well as instructions if a child becomes a victim of violence;
- recommendations for interacting with law enforcement.
Your engagement in your child's life and attention to detail can significantly enhance their safety.
This guide was created under the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in collaboration with the Office of the Prosecutor General for the Diia.Education platform.
