Miraculous Rescue in Odesa

In the open sea: at the 16th station of the Great Fountain in Odesa, an incredible rescue took place. Beachgoers witnessed the rescue of an Irish sailor who found himself in a dire situation. The man, who had fallen from a vessel, managed to swim to shore after over three hours in the water. This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional Administration.
The 27-year-old sailor, working on a private ship, recounted that after falling overboard, he fought against the waves until he reached the breakwater, where rescuers spotted him.
Medics diagnosed him with hypothermia, and he was promptly hospitalized.
This incident highlights the importance of quick action from bystanders and professional medical assistance. We wish him a speedy recovery.
