Establishment of Electronic Warfare Forces Day in Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the establishment of a new holiday dedicated to the Electronic Warfare Forces, which will be celebrated every year on September 12.
This information was confirmed by Zelensky himself.
The document states that the purpose of the holiday is to promote national military traditions, considering the significant role of Electronic Warfare Forces in countering armed aggression and protecting critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
The decree takes effect upon its publication.
Zelensky also congratulated the military on their professional holiday, emphasizing that EW warriors “work invisibly, yet very professionally to protect our nation.”
“The Electronic Warfare Forces neutralize enemy drones and missiles, secure positions, maintain communication between units, and help our soldiers stay safe. I thank each and every one of you for this crucial work. You save lives every day and strengthen our army. We will always remember and be grateful to those who sacrificed their lives in this war.
