Fatal Fire
On the night of September 5, a tragic fire occurred in the village of Oksamytove in the Bolhrad district of Odesa region.
According to the Odesa State Emergency Service press office, the roof of a one-story private house on Serhiy Manulov Street caught fire.
The flames spread over approximately 50 square meters. Although the fire was extinguished, rescuers found the body of a deceased woman at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighting efforts involved units from the State Emergency Service — one piece of equipment and four firefighters, as well as the local fire team from the village of Krynychne — one piece of equipment and two personnel.
