Israel Launches Strikes Against Hezbollah in Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces have executed a series of strikes on Hezbollah targets deep within Lebanon. Special units and weapon depots of the terrorist organization were hit.

This was reported by Vesty.co.il.

The press service indicated that the primary focus of the attacks was the training camps of the elite units of the terrorists.

"Following instructions from military intelligence, IDF aircraft began striking various terrorist sites in Lebanon," the statement reads.

Lebanese media reported that the strikes occurred in the Baalbek area, more than 80 km from the Israeli border.

The IDF explained that movements of militants were observed at several sites, and intelligence detected the presence of Hezbollah weapon depots.

The Israeli military emphasized that these camps were being used for military training of terrorists preparing for actions against Israel, according to the reports.

Israeli forces announced on July 9 that they had entered southern Lebanon as part of targeted operations to eliminate the infrastructure of the Iran-backed group Hezbollah.
