Digital Transformation: Replace Your Vehicle Registration Online
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has introduced a new feature in the "Diia" app — Ukrainians can now replace their vehicle registration documents entirely online. This feature is particularly useful in cases of document loss, damage, changes in license plates, or transitioning to a digital format.
To utilize this service, users need to open the "Diia" app, navigate to Services → Drivers → Replace Vehicle Registration, sign the application electronically, and select a convenient delivery method for the new document — either at a branch or via courier from Ukrposhta.
This service is available for vehicle owners who meet the following criteria:
- must be at least 18 years old;
- must have a taxpayer identification number (TIN) in "Diia";
- must possess a biometric document (ID card or residence permit) in "Diia";
- must have a vehicle registered in their name.
The service operates without the need to visit an MVS service center.
