Enhancing Ukraine-Poland Relations: A New Chapter
The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, met with the Charge d'Affaires of Poland in Ukraine, Piotr Lukasiewicz.
The Polish delegation is in Odesa as part of the Black Sea Security Forum – a key platform for international dialogue on security in the Black Sea region.
Mr. Lukasiewicz noted that this was his first visit to Odesa, and he was deeply impressed by the city's spirit, its rich history, and the resilience of its residents during these challenging times.
Also present at the meeting was the Consul General of Poland in Odesa, Jacek Gocłowski.
The participants discussed the current situation in Ukraine and Poland, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory.
Moreover, the parties explored opportunities for economic and cultural cooperation, including the organization of a Polish culture festival in Odesa.
